OneAmerica Financial® is proud to announce the launch of OneAmerica® Flex Underwriting (Flex), a new program offering a faster, automated underwriting process for life insurance applications.
Officially launched on April 22, Flex blends smart automation and a personal touch to serve clients faster. The new Flex process includes three underwriting paths that will streamline the policy application process for our traditional products – Whole Life, Term and Variable Universal Life.
“With Flex, we will significantly reduce the time it takes for customers to receive an offer through underwriting,” said Bud Graessle, Vice President, Financial Performance. “These changes allow us to give both the customer and producer a more seamless buying experience. With our proven product suite and strong distribution partners, these changes will help enable our continued growth for years to come.”
What does Flex mean for our distribution partners and their clients? Here is a quick snapshot:
· Faster turnaround times. Receiving more information from clients upfront will lead to faster processing.
· Right amount of time on each case. Simple cases go through an automated process, allowing for more time on complex cases.

The new application and OneAmerica Financial® Flex Underwriting program is approved for use in all states except California, Florida, South Carolina and South Dakota.
