KARIN SARRATT
Executive Vice President
Karin Sarratt serves as executive vice president, leading Enterprise Strategy; Enterprise Business Improvement; Enterprise Operations Council; Enterprise Marketing and Communications; Information Technology (IT) and Data; and the Enterprise Transformation Office. A member of the OneAmerica Financial Executive Council and Senior Leadership Team, Sarratt joined the companies of OneAmerica Financial in fall 2016.
With a proven track record managing complex, multi-site global organizations, Sarratt is an accomplished leader that has driven organizational effectiveness and fostered a culture of engagement and high performance, delivering measurable business results through the development and execution of innovative talent and technology strategies.
Currently, Sarratt is leading enterprise transformation initiatives that will streamline technology environments and enhance how capabilities are delivered and improve operating efficiencies.
Her previous roles include chief human resources officer at OneAmerica Financial and vice president of human resources at Elevance Health (formerly Anthem Healthcare), where she spearheaded merger and acquisition projects and led diverse HR functions. Earlier in her career, she served for more than 14 years at International Paper Co., culminating in her role as director of human resources for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Deeply committed to the Indianapolis community and civic engagement, Sarratt actively serves as vice chair for the Indiana Sports Corp board, secretary & treasurer of the Downtown Economic Enhancement District, and Indy Chamber board of directors. She served as a member of WNBA All Star 2025 Host Committee, and is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She previously served as the co-chair for the 2024 US Olympic Trials – Swimming Local Organizing Committee, and in board roles for Shiel Sexton and the Center for Leadership Development.
Sarratt earned her Master of Science degree in human resources development from Clemson University and her Bachelor of Science degree in telecommunications from Ball State University. She also holds an advanced executive coaching certification from Columbia University.
She and her husband, Edgar, live in Carmel and have two adult children. They enjoy traveling abroad and visiting their children in New York and Atlanta.
