Steven Kofkoff

Senior Vice President, Retirement Services Recordkeeping

 As senior vice president, recordkeeping for OneAmerica Financial®, Steven Kofkoff is accountable for executing the transition services agreement, which will secure an effective and efficient transfer of business and associates as the organization exits the recordkeeping business. In addition to planning for the sale, Kofkoff served as vice president, client experience within the Retirement Services business and was accountable for client management. That previous role was designed to bring together relationship management and client administration functions under one leader to improve the overall client experience. Connecting the two teams increased communication, collaboration, and synergy.

 

Since joining the companies of OneAmerica Financial in 2014, Kofkoff has held several leadership positions, including roles as Retirement Services’ strategy, product development and innovation leader. Previously, he was the lead finance officer in the Retirement Services division and held a position in enterprise strategy. Through this work, he has strengthened OneAmerica Financial by developing and delivering on multi-year strategic plans and product roadmaps, while also strengthening strategic planning, forecasting and pricing capabilities for both the division and the enterprise. In 2016, Kofkoff served as business lead for the company’s response to the proposed Department of Labor fiduciary rule, working closely with leaders across the enterprise to prepare for the legislation. 

 

Prior to joining the companies of OneAmerica Financial, Kofkoff worked as an associate in the investment banking division at Barclays in New York City, where he focused on acquisition financing, public and private debt underwriting, risk management and liability management. Kofkoff holds a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School in New York City, graduating with distinction and dean’s list honors. He also received a bachelor’s degree in public policy studies from Duke University. Kofkoff serves on the boards of the Indianapolis Opera and the Silk Foundation in St. Louis.
