TIM BISCHOF

Interim Chief Financial Officer & Chief Actuary

Tim Bischof serves as the interim chief financial officer and chief actuary for OneAmerica Financial®, with responsibilities that include overseeing Actuarial, Risk Management, Financial Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Accounting, and Corporate Development. He is a member of the OneAmerica Financial Executive Council.

 

Prior to being promoted to CFO, Bischof served as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary for the organization with responsibilities including managing the valuation, modeling, corporate development, and corporate actuarial teams. He was also charged with leading the financial planning and analysis, expense management, and investor relations teams. During his tenure, he co-led the financial and actuarial modernization and transformation.

 

Before joining the companies of OneAmerica Financial, Bischof worked for CNO Financial. His responsibilities there included leading the enterprise risk functions, corporate development activities, overseeing pricing standards, ALM, managing financial analysis, modeling and valuation, managing reinsurance and maintaining onshore and offshore IT professionals dedicated to actuarial work. Bischof previously worked as a pricing and valuation actuary for annuity products at Indianapolis Life and held various actuarial positions in CIGNA’s Actuarial Executive Development Program.

 

He currently serves as a board member for the Economic Club of Indiana, Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, Inc., and the Skyline Club of Indianapolis. He enjoys hockey both as a player and official, and he lives north of Indianapolis with his wife and daughters.

 

Bischof earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and education from Rockhurst University, and a Master of Science in statistics from the University of Iowa. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
